The Black Eyed Peas are the 2nd musical act to top the Hot 100 chart in 2010. Their 4th single, Imma Be, just hit the #1 spot, bumping Kesha off. This marks the Black Eyed Peas’ third #1 of their career (Fergie’s 6th number 1 solo & group combined). They have spent 27 weeks at the top spot of the chart, that’s more than half a year, and only two other groups have more weeks, The Beatles (59) and Boyz II Mean (50).
I Gotta Feeling and Meet Me Halfway fall four spots to #20 and #43, respectively.
This is the first time a musical act is able to get their fourth single to go #1 since 2007; when it was done by none other than Fergie with Big Girls Don’t Cry!
