This week brings good news to The Black Eyed Peas on the Billboard Charts.

Their latest single, “Just Can’t Get Enough” jumps 17 spots to number 5 on this week’s Hot 100 chart.  That is their 7th Top 5 hit, and 2nd from their latest effort, The Beginning. The cut bounds 18-3 on Digital Songs (198,000, up 143%)

On the other hand the album received a 24% increase in sales, somewhere around the 13,000 mark, moving up to number 28 on the Billboard 200.  4,000 of those were digital sales.  Their previous album, The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) received a 5% increase to 6,000 copies, 2,000 which were digital.

We’ve done it peabodies!  “Just Can’t Get Enough” has climbed its way onto the number 1 spot on the iTunes Digial Store.  Mostly, thanks to the Black Eyed Peas’ performance last night on American Idol.  Not only is the song number 1, but the music video is up to number 4.  Let’s keep this reign for a long time!

The Black Eyed Peas performed “Just Can’t Get Enough” for the first time on American Idol today! Check out the video below:

“It was the easiest video I ever shot because it was us living our lives,” explains Fergie.  I love that it’s showing a true perspective of how it can sometimes be lonely on the road away from our loved ones. It also demonstrates the love and connection we have with Japan.  Our heart goes out to all of the Japanese people who have been affected by this natural disaster.”

Taboo continues, “It was an amazing moment in time because Japan has always been my favorite place on the planet and it was great to do our video there!  God bless the Japanese our love goes out to them.”

apl.de.ap confirmed that “doing it guerrilla style in Tokyo was the way to capture it!”

Video Producers: Megan Gutman and Kathy Angstadt

While we all patiently wait for the music video for “Just Can’t Get Enough” to be released, Interscope has released a semi-lyric video on youtube. Check it out below:

The Black Eyed Peas were one of the big winners at this year NRJ Awards, held in Paris, France today.  The quartet took home the awards for  Best Concert of the Year and Best International Group.  Present to accept the awards were apl.de.ap and will.i.am.  The group also performed in a way that no group has ever done before.  Fergie and taboo were not physically present, but thanks to technology, they were able to perform on the same stage as apl and Will.  Check out the performance below:
