Fergie Loves Las Vegas Cupcakes

Recently cupcakestakethecake.blogspot.com posted an article about Fergie.

"First we had a fabulous birthday party for none other than The Duchess herself Fergie!!! She also celebrated with Quentin Tarantino, Daryl Hannah, Ghostface Killah, Kid Rock and Josh Duhamel who all had their taste of The Cupcakery Favorites.

Just last week we made some yummy surprises for Pharrel Williams and NERD, and Mrs. Avril Lavine was spotted out with George Maloof munching on a Tickle Me Pink."

Fergie Bargined For "Sex and the City" Sneak Peek

Pop star FERGIE refused to record the theme to the new SEX + THE CITY film until she'd seen a sneak peek of the movie. The Black Eyed Peas singer was the first choice to record the big song, but she insisted she was too busy - until writer/director Michael Patrick King agreed to let Fergie see the film before anyone else.

He reveals, "When we first approached Fergie, her music company said she's really, really busy and then she said very bargainy, 'Let me see the movie!' "So we had a private bootleg screening for Fergie... and then recorded it almost immediately."

Concert in Dubai Cancelled

Fergie's concert in Dubai, in which also featured a back to back day performance alongside Mariah Carey has been cancelled and rescheduled to a later date.

Midas Promotions regret to announce the "Divas in Dubai" concert event is being rescheduled to a later date in the Fall 2008.

"Mariah and Fergie are disappointed that they won't be able to perform," commented a Producer for the first time ever, back to back event. "They had scheduled this one special event in their calendars and were looking forward to performing for the Dubai fans."

Mel Tyler, of Midas Promotions, stated that "the extremely compressed time frame along with unforeseen logistical complications compelled us to move the event later in the year to ensure a show commensurate with the level of success of these world class Artists and the people of Dubai."

For customers who have already purchased, the ticket value will be refunded to your credit card within 10-21 working days.

After many of the people at blackeyedpeas.com were "offended" by the comment that Will said a couple of days ago about replacing Fergie with Cheryll Cole, he went to the forums and wrote the following:

Interview with "OK!"

Interview with "OK!"

Fergie is one "Glamorous" bag lady. The Grammy-winning superstar is launching her newest creations for her bag line, Fergie for Kipling, and gave OK! a sneak peek at the eclectic collection.

"The designs are about my high school years," she tells OK!. "There’s tie-dye, there’s Jerry Garcia, it’s groovy. That’s when I was able to just go down to Venice Beach – go with a really big bag with all my stuff in it and just walk around and just people watch."

And when she's not busy concocting designs, the 33-year-old is working on new tunes (including the Sex and the City movie theme) and planning her upcoming nuptials to Las Vegas star Josh Duhamel. Find out how she does it all!

What was the inspiration for launching a bookbag line? The first bag design I did, I was basically in the mode of the Dutchess album, so I was using a lot of the elements that were in my mind – things that related to Dutchess. With this, there was a fresh palette and it was fun so I was thinking, “Let me go deeper, I want to go back to my high school years. And that’s what the designs are about.

How do they reflect your high-school years? California Doll, that line is all about it. There’s tie-dye, there’s Jerry Garcia, it’s groovy. That’s when I was able to just go down to Venice Beach – go with a really big bag with all my stuff in it and just walk around and just people watch. It started off with the domino print, that’s from before that would be with kickbacks. Guys would be sitting around, playing dominoes, dollar bills crumpled up, everybody’s playing.

It would just be really fun and loud and just reminded me of back in the day. So we started playing with that idea – a gambler, a risk taker. And the colors that came to mind were reminiscent of race car driving, the bold colors. Chic Rocker is the third line, is more street influenced. A bandana print really started that inspiration – each one starts off in kind of a pattern – so this started with the bandana.

So did the Domino have any inspiration because of Las Vegas? I think that was a lucky coincidence! The laws of attraction, I guess. I am a gambler.

Will this collection inspire your music? Yeah, you know, it brings back memories. There are things inside that if you start thinking about it, you start remembering other things. It’s how people relate. It turns into a statement of who you are. If you can relate to something that bag says, that kind of says a little bit about who you are.

You did Candies, you have your bag line, you did MAC makeup... What's next — jewelry? Mixing Cartier with Chrome Hearts [shows off engagement ring]. I call this one "Duhamel," it’s an original. He did a good job! But I’ll take it step by step, day by day because I don’t want to swamp myself and if I sign up for something, I won’t have the time and put the effort in. The great thing about Kipling is that they were ready for my ideas, which was great because I had so many ideas and so many opinions.

Your song "Labels or Love" is the theme to the Sex and the City movie. How were you inspired to write it? The song completely fits the personalities of the girls – it’s kind of a love triangle between love, friends and fashion. I was thrilled to do this song, I’ve been such a huge fan for so long. My mother and I would watch it religiously. So when I saw the movie, I got all of the references. I loved it.

Who would you like to collaborate with? I want to collaborate with a lot of people. I love Nelly. He’s such a great performer, he’s so hyper and so am I.

How do you stay so grounded in this industry? Who’s your support system? I have my team. Like if you see everyone around me – I have my hair and makeup girl, my assistant. They’re very calm, they’re all about positive energy. There are no drama queens. Everyone wants everyone else to have a positive experience. There are no agendas. I think it creates a healthy environment and they are no boundaries to cross.

So, planning a wedding – is it stressful? I don’t know, I haven’t started yet! [laughs hysterically] They say we have a date or something like next summer, but it’s like "Really? Thanks! Good to know!"

WILL.I.AM SAYS "COLE" TO REPLACE FERGIE

WILL.I.AM has a back up plan in case singer FERGIE ever decides to leave the group - he will replace her with British pop star CHERYL COLE.

The BEP are currently on hiatus while various members of the group pursue solo projects - but plan on getting back together for future albums and tours.

But will.i.am recently collaborated with Cole on his new single Heartbreaker and he insists that if Fergie decides not to rejoin them, Cole would be first in line to take her place.

He says, "If we didn't (have) Fergie, she (Cole) would be in the Peas - that's how cool she is."

Will.i.Am talks about Fergie as a wife

Fergie and Josh Duhamel's wedding date may still be under wraps, but will.i.am can't wait for his invite. "I don't know when she's getting married, but I'll be there," the bride's bandmate told PEOPLE at the Bloomberg afterparty for Saturday's White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in Washington, D.C. "I got a wedding gift for her and Josh – some new beats, so she can sing over them!" Besides the bride, will.i.am also gushed about Duhamel, calling the Las Vegas star "super-duper cool – one of the nicest guys I've ever met." Good thing, too, because he says he considers Fergie, 33, "my little sister. They're perfect for each other. She brings out the best in him and he brings the best out of her." So what kind of spouse will the Duchess – who became engaged to Duhamel, 35, in December – be? "She's Fergie-Ferg, she's just cool," says will.i.am, also 33. "That's like the coolest wife you could have, right?"
